With Covid-19 cases rising, we’ll cancel this month’s ride. With the heat, the trail is drying out faster than we could have hoped after all the rain in the past two weeks, so get out and enjoy the trail (we suggest doing that early in the morning) and practice your social distancing on the trail.

We’ll meet at Highland Park and continue our project to go out to flag the new re-routes that the Corps has ‘conceptually’ approved. We will be striking out into the underbrush to locate the new paths, so dress accordingly – the trees and vines and underbrush will definitely be trying to fight back.

When: 8am, Saturday, June 20, 2020
Where: Highland Park trailhead
What to bring: water, bug spray, loppers, long sleeves and pants.
