We’ll be continuing our work to harden the two sets of newly installed culverts north of Brockdale Park with 60lb sacks of concrete. We’ll need lots of volunteers (all of whose hours will count towards our TPW grant). We’ll have the pallets of concrete bags in place for the workday. Volunteers will stack the bags to harden the culverts, up- and down-stream. We’ll finish the job we started at the first culvert, then move on to the second culvert. Gloves are needed, and if you’re stacking bags in the creek, you’ll need high boots. We’re talking a lot of bags (56 at each site), so it won’t be easy, but it will be worthwhile.

When – 8am, Saturday, October 4, 2025
Where – meet at the Churchill’s, 1125 Brockdale Park Rd (we’ll park in the field, entrance just past their driveway)
What to bring – bug spray, gloves, water, wading boots (if you’ll be in the creek).
