1) August 12, 2008 Board Meeting Minutes.

Halloween Ride October 25th.
i.
Tractor Supply donated prizes, valued at $125.
ii.
Judges for costume contest will be Bea
Angermeier, Chris Angermeier and Steve Bourgeois.
iii.
Witches for the witches brew will be Ruth Blom
and Maggie Sico.
iv.

with North Texas Municipal Water District

NTMWD is
agreeable to routing the trail in front of their processing plant rather than
behind (thus avoiding the wet area), volunteered to have their engineers look
at a possible route and write a legal agreement.

was made to give two awards: Jimmy
Shackelford and Rick Pickard (business).

6) Stewardship
Program
a.
TTPA
Brochure tailored to an organization’s needs/interest.

Contacted
Boy Scouts. Carole will work with Pat
Monson to develop a scout oriented TTPA brochure.
ii.

and Ruth will work on a school oriented brochure.

Brochure
Distribution boxes have been purchased.

TTPA
Business Card

volunteered Mary (has info set up for Charlie’s card) to print individual
cards. Contact Mary with info.

working on Lovejoy students/parents becoming TTPA members.
7) Sweatshirts

will check on cost of zip- up sweatshirts – will need to be pre-paid before
ordering.

also check on cost of low profile caps.
8) Nomination
Committee Report
a.
Tom
Eberhart has accepted the nomination for Vice President.
b.
The
nomination for President is under consideration.
9) Location
for January Board Meeting
a.
Carole
volunteered to have the meeting at her house unless the new President has a
preferred location.
10) Additional
Items
a.
Carole
donated a two year virus protection subscription for the lap-top.
b.
Publish
TTPA’s average monthly expenses in the newsletter to bring attention to the
ongoing cost of the trail.
c.
Announce
in newsletter that Board Meeting Minutes are posted on the Web Site.
d.
Christine
has set up a blog. Suggested putting
newsletter on blog with some minor alterations, photos would be deleted until
release forms are signed. Need info to
put on the blog. Access to blog will be
announced after information is accumulated.
